BEGINNERS
Everything you need to know before you step into the gym. No experience required, just the will to start.
WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
In a typical CrossFit session you train in a small group, led by a coach. The day's session (WOD = Workout of the Day) often contains both a strength or technique block and conditioning.
The training is constantly varied, so no two sessions look the same. The goal is to build a broad physical base that makes you stronger, faster and more enduring in daily life.
Every movement can be scaled, adjusted in weight, tempo or complexity. Whether you're brand new or have trained for years, there's a variant that fits you.
“You don't get in shape to start. You get in shape from starting.”
